Vascular Innovates Sedation Model to Alleviate OR Capacity

Raul J. Guzman, MD, and colleagues spearhead a moderate sedation care model for dialysis patients requiring fistulogram procedures for their dialysis access needs.

This program allows for operational efficiency, optimized resource allocation by utilizing a trained moderate sedation nursing team and creates much needed OR capacity for higher-acuity cases requiring our anesthesiology resources. The new model is designed to improve clinical continuity, grow vascular volume, and better serve our community.
