Sarah Ballatori, MD, is an assistant professor of orthopaedics and rehabilitation and specializes in diagnosing and treating benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors, metastatic disease, and limb salvage procedures. She cares for patients of all ages and supports them from diagnosis through recovery. Dr. Ballatori received her medical training at Tufts University School of Medicine and then completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Washington University, followed by a fellowship in orthopaedic oncology at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Ballatori’s research is aimed at advancing the understanding of musculoskeletal oncology and improving treatments for bone and soft tissue tumors, helping to enhance both function and quality of life for people living with these conditions. Her approach to medicine is highly collaborative and centered on patient wellbeing. She achieves this by tailoring treatments and helping patients focus on each step of the process, which she believes fosters greater confidence and reduces uncertainty.
