Krishnan-Sarin Presents Talk at American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting

Suchitra Krishnan-Sarin, PhD, Albert E. Kent Professor of Psychiatry, gave a talk at the American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting, held April 17-22 in San Diego.

Krishnan-Sarin was a member of the panel “Cancer Prevention and Screening: Exploring Policy Solutions.” The title of her talk was “Tobacco Products as Modifiable Cancer Risk, Current Tobacco Marketing Concerns, and Tobacco Regulation.”

Krishnan-Sarin is the co-principal investigator at the Yale Tobacco Centers of Regulatory Science, which uses a multidisciplinary approach to understand the role of flavors and other parts of tobacco products in tobacco and nicotine addiction. She also leads the ENACT initiative, funded by the American Heart Association, which focuses on developing interventions for e-cigarette use behaviors among youth.
