With the beauty of spring in full bloom here in Connecticut and as the end of the academic year quickly draws near, the dedicated work of YCSC faculty, staff, and trainees remains steadfast. Indeed, all in our community work incredibly hard throughout the year and across our missions.
It was a joy to celebrate nearly 50 members of our faculty and staff just a few weeks ago, to recognize long-term service at Yale. It is quite remarkable to have so many people marking anniversaries of five, 10, 15, 20, 25 years and more each year. You can read more about this event – including the dedication of a newly planted tree in the courtyard – in the article linked below.
I am also so pleased to share the announcement of the new child and adolescent psychiatry chief residents and fellows – and simply thrilled to welcome and introduce Alix Hunter, our new chief of staff. Amidst the continued uncertainties in our world, good news is so very welcome, and I’m grateful to have all of this and more to share with you in this month’s newsletter.
