DC MOMS Graduates Enjoy a Special Day with the Washington Spirit Soccer Team

On September 7, 2024, DC MOMS Partnership^SM graduates had the opportunity to attend a complimentary soccer game hosted by the Washington Spirit, the District's professional women's team.

Launched in 2018, DC MOMS was the first team Elevate collaborated with to implement the MOMS Partnership outside of New Haven. Today, DC MOMS is part of a network of MOMS Partnership teams.

Despite less-than-ideal weather, the outing was a resounding success, bringing together more than 20 moms, their children, and families for a fun-filled day at Audi Field. The children were buzzing with excitement, cheering enthusiastically for the Spirit as the players showcased their skills on the field. For the mothers, it was a moment to connect, relax, and appreciate the community that DC MOMS fosters.

The event was a wonderful reminder of the valuable experiences available to DC MOMS graduates. We are grateful for partnerships that enrich our community and provide our families with memorable opportunities.
