DESCRIPTION:Session Description This session will address how impairments
in the brain circuitry involved in emotion regulation are associated with
transdiagnostic symptoms in youth\, particularly disruptive behavior pro
blems. Brain regions that may serve as potential biomarkers for informing
treatments addressing emotion regulation in children will also be discus
sed. The learning objectives for this session are for participants to und
erstand: The key functional and structural brain networks that are implic
ated in transdiagnostic symptom domains including childhood disruptive be
havior disorders The functional connectomics of disruptive behavior probl
ems using predictive modeling or machine learning approaches Different MR
I approaches for characterizing neural architecture including structural
 MRI\, seed-based functional connectivity\, and brain-wide connectivity or
connectomics Continuing Education This session is approved for Continuin
g Education Credit (CEC) by the National Association of Social Workers\,
CT and meets the continuing education criteria for Social Work\, Marriage
& Family Therapist\, Professional Counselor\, and Licensed Psychologist
Licensure renewal. Additional information and instructions for earning CE
C for this session will be provided at the live event. YCSC Grand Rounds
are reviewed for eligibility for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credi
ts on an annual basis and most lecture-style sessions are approved for th
e year. Yale School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Counci
l for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical
education for physicians. Individual event designation details are provid
ed at applicable live events. YCSC Grand Rounds sessions are typically pr
esented in the Cohen Auditorium at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesdays from September t
hrough June\, with a live stream available via Zoom. Internal participant
