Dale Sebastian, MBBS, MD, associate professor of psychiatry, and Yasmin Rawlins, MD, rising third-year resident in psychiatry, were honored June 18 at the annual meeting of the Connecticut Psychiatric Society (CPS).
Sebastian was honored with the Service to Patients Award, given to a CPS member who has demonstrated exemplary devotion to patient care and the commitment to quality in honor of the late Dr. Roger Coleman.
Rawlins received the Rising Leader Award in recognition of outstanding promise, initiative, and dedication to the future of psychiatry.
CPS is a District Branch of the American Psychiatric Association composed of 600 members. CPS advocates for patients and those who care for them, promotes and disseminates professional values, supports education and career advancement, and strengthens the scientific basis of psychiatric diagnosis and treatment.
