    Biography

    Dr. Grant is a board-certified gastroenterologist who attended The City College of The City

    University of New York (CCNY of CUNY) and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science

    degree in Biology. She then went on to earn her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College

    of Medicine of Yeshiva University and graduated with a distinction in medical research.

    Dr. Grant then completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at

    Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. She completed a sub-fellowship

    in motility disorders of the gastrointestinal tract at the University of Michigan in Ann

    Arbor during her final year of fellowship.

    She treats a variety of general gastrointestinal conditions including gastro-esophageal reflux

    disease (GERD), eosinophilic esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, celiac disease, exocrine

    pancreatic insufficiency, microscopic colitis and bile salt diarrhea.

    She has special interest in motility disorders such as achalasia, gastroparesis, irritable bowel

    syndrome, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, gas, bloating and dyssynergic defecation.

    Additionally, she has a special interest in medical nutrition and earned a Nutrition and Healthy

    Living Certificate from Cornell University.

    Dr. Grant performs endoscopic procedures such as upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, Bravo pH

    capsule placement, esophageal dilation and Botox injections of the lower esophageal sphincter

    and anal sphincter.

    She is a strong advocate for health equity and has worked with various medical and community

    organizations in an effort to decrease disparities in healthcare and improve patient outcomes.
