    Biography

My name is Reza Aalizadeh, and I am currently an Associate Research Scientist at Yale University. I hold a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Athens, Greece, and over the past several years, my research has focused extensively on exposomics and non-target screening using high-resolution mass spectrometry (LC-, GC- and MALDI-HRMS). My work has aimed to advance the analytical tools and workflows necessary to better characterize the chemical exposure in complex biological and environmental matrices. My research at Yale focuses on exposomics, specifically how persistent, bioaccumulative chemicals trigger metabolomic and proteomic changes in animal models using “omics” technologies.
