    Biography

    Marie Hoareau obtained her PhD from the University of Lyon, France in 2023, specializing in vascular elasticity and elastin-associated cardiovascular complications. She joined the Qyang laboratory in September 2023 as a postdoctoral associate, where she is continuing her exploration of vascular elasticity and elastin deficiency using cutting-edge iPSC (induced pluripotent stem cell) technology and patient-derived cell models developed within the laboratory.

    Dr. Hoareau's expertise encompasses molecular and cell biology, microscopy and image analysis, biostatistics, protocol development, and scientific communication.
