    Biography

    Dr. Kirsty A. Clark (she/her) is a social and psychiatric epidemiologist whose research broadly focuses on investigating and intervening on adverse mental health outcomes disproportionately affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) populations. Dr. Clark’s program of research specifically seeks to identify precursors to suicide among LGBTQ youth and test evidence-based interventions to disrupt mental health disparities affecting high-risk LGBTQ populations. Dr. Clark is trained in innovative qualitative and quantitative research methods. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology from UCLA, an MPH in Social & Behavioral Sciences from Yale, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
