    Biography

Dr. Javier earned her MD degree from the Yale School of Medicine where she investigated the longitudinal progression of subthreshold PTSD for her MD thesis. As a graduating medical student, she organized the inaugural institution- and region-wide conference on physician well-being entitled, Mental Health and Resilience in Medicine, which she plans to continue.

She is interested in applying a preventive approach to mental health, such as working with children to mitigate the progression of mental illness or developing ways to promote well-being to address the problem of physician burnout.
