    I am a psychologist, researcher and clinician originally from Brazil, passionate about exploring people’s lived experience and meaning-making processes. I enjoy collaborating with researchers worldwide driven by a deep commitment to understanding the emotional, social, and motivational experience of people navigating adversity.

    Research

    My works spans diverse populations, including mothers, Black women, musicians, Brazilian immigrants, and hospice caregivers. As a postdoc, I am investigating employment and recovery. My research is person-centered and phenomenological, highlighting the transformative power of empathic, authentic human relationships and their potential to foster healing and resilience.
