    Biography


    Cecilia Jiye Lee, recently earned her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Yale School of Public Health (YSPH), specializing in Chronic Disease Epidemiology with concentrations in Public Health Modeling and Implementation Science. Prior to Yale, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences (Highest Honors) with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2023.

    While at Yale, Cecilia worked as a research assistant on this CDC-funded CHIPSTER project at the Yale School of Medicine. Her master’s thesis, titled 'Barriers and Facilitators to COVID-19 Vaccination Access Among Older Adults: A Comprehensive Needs Assessment to Enhance Vaccination Strategies,' focused on improving vaccine access. Her project was accepted for presentation at the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) Spring 2025 Conference. Cecilia also served as Co-Chair of the 21st Annual Yale Healthcare Conference, titled “AI²: Shaping Health with Integrity and Intelligence,” held at the Yale School of Management.

    At UIUC, Cecilia interned at the Center on Health, Aging, and Disability, supporting community-health tech initiatives and leading public-facing research. She also conducted a systematic review on digital health interventions for chronic diseases as a research assistant, presenting her work at the Undergraduate Research Symposium.
