    Yale Cancer Center Researchers Highlight Breakthroughs Across Cancer Care at ASCO 2026

    More than 40 Yale Cancer Center (YCC) physicians and scientists will present new advances at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, the world’s leading cancer conference.

    This year, Lajos Pusztai, M.D., D.Phil, will be named a 2026 Giant of Cancer Care in Prevention/Genetics, an honor recognizing major contributions to cancer care and research. Another Yale Cancer Center expert will also receive prestigious recognition to be announced prior to the conference.

    Research presented by YCC experts will include topics such as artificial intelligence and spatial profiling in metastatic breast cancer, developmental therapeutics and immunotherapy, and advances across lung, head and neck, ovarian, blood, and prostate cancers.
