Shivani Srivastava, PhD, a Postdoctoral Associate in the Lab of Demetrios Braddock, MD, PhD, received a 2024 Young Investigator Award at the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research. Dr. Srivastava’s abstract, entitled, “A common ENPP1 SNP (rs104498) induces childhood obesity and adult metabolic syndrome by regulating stem cell differentiation into adipocytes and osteoblasts,” was chosen for a platform presentation and highlighted at the meeting.
