    1 Minute Read

The Journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (JSCAI) January/February 2023 issue is now available.

The current issue features the first report of lithotripsy-assisted transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR) in patients with severe mitral annular calcification, a review article focused on the treatment of pulmonary embolism, and an editorial from Peter Monteleone, MD, of the University of Texas.

The Journal also highlights current evidence of TAVR in patients at low surgical risk with bicuspid aortic valve stenosis with John K. Forrest, MD, and colleagues. Robert R. Attaran, MD, co-authored a comprehensive review of chronic venous disease, which was also featured in a recent episode of Conversations in Interventional Cardiology. Additionally, a substudy of the PIONEER III trial looks at the outcomes of the Supreme drug-eluting stent (DES) by enrollment location.

Alexandra J. Lansky, MD, serves as the editor-in-chief of JSCAI. Current and past issues of JSCAI are available at jscai.org.
