Gastrointestinal Society Selects David Klimstra, MD, for Lifetime Achievement Award

David Klimstra, MD, Louis J.M. Zinterhofer, MD, Professor of Pathology, was named by the Rodger C. Haggitt Gastrointestinal Pathology Society as recipient of its Harvey Goldman Lifetime Achievement Award. The award, given to an active society member, recognizes Klimstra’s significant academic contributions to the field of gastrointestinal pathology. He received the award in late March at the annual meeting of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology in San Antonio.
