Carl Baum, MD, professor of pediatrics (emergency medicine) and of emergency medicine, was named a Distinguished Fellow of the American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT).
This new designation was developed to recognize sustained service to ACMT and to other organizations in education, clinical practice, and public service. Baum has served for over two decades on committees and boards of numerous organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.
